JSON Formatter, Validator and Minifier

Free JSON formatter with validation, minification, editable tree, comparison, JSONPath and schemas. Your documents stay in your browser.

Paste an API response or configuration file and choose an indentation level. Formatting preserves numeric literals; the tree view helps you navigate objects and arrays. Structural comparison identifies added, removed and changed values without requiring a server.

How it works

This JSON tool makes your data easier to read and transform. Explore the actions with an example, then import your file. Always review results before using them in production.

  1. Paste text or import a file.
  2. Choose an action and adjust the options.
  3. Review the result, then copy or export.

Things to know

JSONPath supports paths without code evaluation. Schemas use JSON Schema draft-07. Large integers follow JavaScript numeric precision.

Limit: 2 MB per input to keep the interface responsive.

Your documents are processed in your browser. Theme, language and privacy choices may be saved on this device. Statistics and advertising have separate consent choices.
